ABOUT ME
Mark Willoughby
My love of trees and nature began as a boy involved in scouting. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from King's College, I worked in information technology, but eventually realized that what I enjoyed most was learning about trees.
I began learning in earnest when I had the good fortune to work in a nursery alongside a gentleman who taught me a great deal about trees and shrubs in our zone. I then spent twelve years diagnosing and treating tree and shrub disorders as a technician for one of the large tree care companies. Along the way I obtained the ISA Board Certified Master Arborist certification. A year later I became a ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist.
I am your local Master Arborist! My specialties include forensic tree investigations, insect and disease identification, tree risk assessments, report writing, tree planting, plant health care, tree protection for construction projects, tree inventories, appraisals, and expert witness for personal injury and property damage tree cases.
Much of my work is carried out for homeowners requesting assistance and I look forward to those cases as they involve differing types of work. If you have a question about a tree, I can help.
